Hey guys! Happy Tuesday! I know it’s been awhile since I have posted. I’m trying to get back on track with life and just crazy things that have been going on with me – work, health, just life in general. Dominik finally came home last week and I was more than thrilled to see him again! It is so weird going so long without seeing your human then all of a sudden they are there again. Being able to hug him and hold his hand, but not to mention the mess of an apartment I have encountered haha! I missed it all.

Since I haven’t posted in a few weeks, I wanted to get my thoughts out about balance. Balance in all aspects of life. This is a subject that I personally struggle with and am trying to find my way. How to balance work with life, fun with responsibility, your inner child with maturing. Dom is someone who definitely keeps my life in check. He helps me manage my balance of the good and the bad, understand the importance of each side and what needs to take place to not only better the situation, but myself. I will sadly admit, my balance was off when he was gone. Not only because he is my photographer for this blog which helps motivate me, but just finding that place inside me to balance my blog with my life and the emotions I was dealing with about some personal things going on.

I just recently read an article about the habits of happy women, and one of them is about mastering your mind and the balance of it. But finding that ideal balance is all about taking care of yourself first. Take time off when you need it, push yourself when you know you have a little extra in you, cut out the crap that’s fogging your mind and throwing off your balance, and lastly just listen to your inner self – she will be the most honest with you.

I am getting back on track and do not plan to let any of my readers down. I appreciate all the support I have received and that you continue this fun journey with me!

But now we speak fashion! The best part. If you haven’t noticed, I have been wearing so much of Rachel Parcell lately! That is where I snagged this under $40, cute, comfy sweater that I literally wore 3 times in one week (no judging!) This entire outfit was actually purchased with my December trip to Germany in mind. I have been buying over the knee boots so I will have some extra warmth on my legs and beanies galore! This cheetah one was calling my name and I can’t get enough of it!

Hope you guys have an amazing day!! It feels good to be back after a short break!

xxoo, Rebekah
