Happy Monday, fashionistas! Did everyone have a good weekend?? TBH, I had one of those funky weekends where I was emotional but I have no idea why! My poor boyfriend puts up with so much from me – what a champ! We took some of our German friends to their first football game, University of Houston vs Rice University. We had great seats and it was so fun to see their excitement!! Then Dominik and I went on a Sunday bike ride. I’m seriously so bad at riding bikes!! I fell off mine when I was younger and broke my arm and just haven’t been confident on one since. Practice makes perfect though, right?

For starters, I styled this beautiful blouse last week for work with a completely different look. I don’t know how I did it, but after I worked out on lunch break and was getting dressed, I destroyed my zipper! Completely unrepairable!! Dominik rounded up some safety pins and brought them to me thankfully! (We work “together” – it is kind of confusing). Needless to say, I spent the rest of the day sitting still at my desk! Haha.

So this skirt is another Rachel Parcell collection item that I am so in love with and it’s currently on sale!! Under $60! When it arrived in the mail, I happened to be wearing a nude tank and slipped on the skirt with it. I looked like none other than the Carrie Bradshaw herself in the opening credits of Sex and the City!! That was, however, my intention when I laid my eyes on this skirt! I can’t wait to pair this skirt with a grey or cream sweater and some booties for the cooler weather!

Now I need to plan a trip to New York and walk around all fancy but avoid buses and puddles 😉

Have a wonderful Monday and thanks for stopping by!

xxoo, Rebekah
