Guys, tomorrow is Thanksgiving! It totally snuck up on us! We are heading to my parents’ house for Thanksgiving, along with 2 of my brothers, their significant others and one of my nephews. I’m so thankful I only live 30 minutes away from them!! The Moss Thanksgiving traditions are pretty classic. The whole family goes to my parent’s house, we cook the traditional foods, stuff our faces then watch football and nap until we are ready for leftovers! I’ve also made it a tradition of my own to run the Turkey Trot every Thanksgiving morning. This year, I am running the 10k rather than the 5k for half-marathon prep. Anyways, I am so ready to kick back and relax with my family for the next few days. This Thanksgiving is exciting because it is Dominik’s first time to celebrate! He’s never had the chance to experience it! I’m a little skeptical if he will like the food or not haha. I’ll keep you posted 😉
Anyways, today I am sharing a look I wore last week. I am most likely wearing this look for Thanksgiving until I need to change into my stretchy pants for eating. The high-waisted, flare jeans and leather jacket totally give me an old-school vibe! Maybe from the 50’s? I just recently bought this leather jacket after I saw my friend wearing hers in Italy. The tailored fit with gold accents is what made me fall in love and it will be perfect to layer in Germany! It is always a challenge trying to find an inexpensive yet good quality faux leather jacket. I even got asked if this was real leather! Nope. Just a BA faux one.
What are some of your Thanksgiving traditions? Do you dress up for a formal celebration or more laid back with this old school look?
Hope you all have a safe, memorable Thanksgiving!
