Happy hump day! Is it just me or has this week just been draggingggggg? I was ready for the weekend on Monday! Dominik and I have had a little curve ball thrown at us and it’s kind of just shaken my mind. Needless to say, I have a lot to think about and consider and work through on my own – Don’t worry, him and I are perfectly fine and it has nothing to do with his status is America or not 🙂 But just writing that is stressing me out so let’s skip to the fun stuff!

Alright, this dress – wow! It’s kind of like a Diane von Furstenburg wrap dress that looks good on every body type! That amazing lady nailed it with the wrap dresses! I styled this dress with two different shoes to show a more conservative look for the office and a fun look for happy hour after! I did red, because I’ve just been obsessed with the color rad lately but there are so many fun floral colors in this dress to play with! I will definitely be wearing this dress this spring but I also think it will be adorable for the fall!

What color florals would you pull out of this dress?

Happy Monday, guys! How was your weekend? We really didn’t too much at all! I ended up going out to my parent’s house for a little bit and we went two-stepping Friday night! Do you know how to two-step? I enjoy it so much! There is a country bar further into town that is our favorite and it was celebrating it’s 37th anniversary. Needless to say, it was a party!

Spring is approaching fast here in Houston so I’m starting to prep my wardrobe. Actually, I don’t need to “prep” because I can already wear spring clothes haha! Once again, I am sporting an RP Everyday Shop blouse because there isn’t one thing on there that I don’t like and it’s so affordable and versatile! This beautiful eyelet ruffle sleeve blouse sold out in one day the other week and is fully restocked now! I am such a sucker for eyelet AND ruffle so I absolutely needed this top! And I love the endless ways you can style it!

What would you pair with this Eyelet Ruffle Sleeve top?

Hope you all have an amazing week!

Party Planning with Basic Invite…

Shimmer on the top versus normal stock on the bottom

Shimmer is on the left versus normal stock on the right. Which do you think is my favorite 😉

As I have mentioned before, I have just had great feelings about this year and what it will bring! And along with this year comes another birthday! Some of you may have noticed that Dominik and I are very social beings. We are always with other people, going out, interacting. Even though we are social butterflies, I have never been one to throw myself a birthday party. But with this great year of 2018, I have decided that I will be throwing myself a grand celebration!

With that being said, and how picky I am with my products I select, I have chosen to go with Basic Invite to create invitations with their custom birthday party invitation maker! When creating cards with Basic Invite, you have almost an unlimited selection of colors! There are so many different card templates to choose from (OR you can create custom photo cards) and once chosen, you have a selection of 180 different color options to create a card to your exact desires. I believe this feature is one of the biggest draws to choose Basic Invite over other companies.

Along with customizing the templates with a plethora of colors, you also have the option of over 40 different colored envelopes! I chose a minority color from each of my designs as the color of the envelope and I couldn’t be happier! I want my invites to stand out in the mail before my friends even know what it is! All envelopes are peel and seal so no need in making your tongue go raw 😉 Another cool feature I love about Basic Invite is their Address Capturing feature! This feature allows customers to share a link via social media to request their friend’s and family’s addresses which will then be stored on your account. From there, you can select to have Basic Invite print the recipient and return address on the envelope for you! Bonus – Basic Invite offers to print the recipient address at no additional costs for Christmas card orders! I will without a doubt be using this feature!

Now are you ready for my favorite feature? It’s the foil! Whether it is a holiday card, party invite or thank you card, you can choose to add gold, silver or rose gold foil into your customization. The foil feature can either be raised or a flat design on all of Basic Invites foil cards. You know me, I love anything that shines or adds a little extra spark! Speaking of shine, did you notice my shimmering envelopes??

My birthday is less than 2 months out, so I used Basic Invite’s sample feature and created 6 custom party invites to test before I make my final selection! Which design is your favorite?! Right now, they are offering 15% off with coupon code 15FF51. So whether you’re planning a birthday party, wanting to send out Valentine’s Day cards, wedding invites or even thank you notes, be sure to head to Basic Invite to create the perfect card for your event!

Happy planning!

Pom Pom and Leopard…

Sweater: RP Everyday Shop (also available in black!) | Jeans: Levi’s | Pumps: GAP (similar styles here and here) | Tote: Sole Society | Lips: Tawny Lip Liner and Covetous Nude Lipstick by Estee Lauder

You guys… I did it again. A pom pom sweater and some leopard pumps. I admit, I’m obsessed! Pom pom sweaters are my life right now! And don’t think I’m done with them yet! I’m still trying to make this winter last longer so I can wear these sweaters longer haha!

This look is so casual yet so fun! I love pairing leopard with anything yellow. It’s my thing, what can I say? But this pom pom sweater also comes in black and it was so hard not to buy both! Best part about them though? They are under $50 and super cozy! I think you need one 😉

Which color would you go with – the mustard or black? Have a happy Wednesday!

Happy Friday! Hope everyone had a great week! Mine was “short” since we had TWO snow days (I know, crazy for Houston), but it seemed really long to me. I’m so glad it is finally the weekend! We are heading out to New Orleans today with some friends for a little getaway. Should be fun!

I wore this look yesterday to work. And funny story when I was in the bathroom – a lady looked at me and told me I wear the most interesting things everyday. I didn’t know if I should take it as a compliment or insult but I laughed and agreed and she proceeded to say she’s never seen anyone wear what I wear. Although I can’t tell if it was a compliment or not, it made my day and I can’t stop laughing at it 😋

Anyways, I absolutely love anything Pom Pom!! AND I love that the Pom Poms make hearts!! I’ve had this sweater for a minute and just haven’t had the chance to share it with you! Make sure to heck it out though because it comes in so many different colors!

Have a fun and safe weekend! I can’t wait to share my NOLA trip!
